Tapestries and pictures

Tapestries are one of my absolute favorites for bringing boring walls some major excitement and character. Even though most are bohemian hippie looking tie dyed sheets, you rarely see the same ones. That’s why it’s perfect for almost anyone to either make or pick out one that matches your personality! I walked into H&M and found the cutest floral scarf. Later when I was at home trying it out, I realized it was much bigger than necessary and as I unfolded it, it was a perfect square and ideally fit perfectly in place right on my wall. My plain boring room came to life! Having a vintage floral pattern for my tapestry was an easy way to make my room look modern but with a classy and vintage look as well! After falling in love with my scarf – tapestry look, I bought another real one for $20 that was 83” X 60” and covered my whole wall! If you don’t want to spend this kind of money, you can easily buy a tie dye kit at Hobby Lobby for under $10 and use any plain old sheet from your home! Anything that brings your walls color is a great eye attention getter and gives your wall character, no matter what kind of tapestry look you have going on. If you do have any extra space on the sides, add some cute picture frames (which you can spray paint any color if you like) an extra poster, or some random printed off pictures you have! Sometimes more isn’t always better, so make sure if you like the cluttered filled wall look like I do, that the clutter catches your eyes more than the wall art does.
